About MigraClima
A safe space for voices, stories, and solutions seeking climate and social justice in a constantly changing world.
Our Story
MigraClima was born from the urgency to address forced displacement caused by the climate crisis, recognizing that youth are both the most powerful voice for change and those most affected by it. We exist to be a bridge between knowledge and action, providing resources and exchange spaces that shed light on climate migration, always centered on gender issues and the realities of the Global South.
We strive to build a safe and profound space to discuss social justice and equality, respecting every story and every voice. We do not claim to have all the answers, but we invite you to join this community where every perspective enriches the conversation and brings us closer to a more just and sustainable future.
Our Values
Human Dignity
We place people, not statistics, at the center of climate mobility discussions. Every story matters.
Justice & Equity
We approach climate mobility as a structural issue shaped by inequality, colonial legacies, and uneven climate impacts.
Evidence & Integrity
Our work is grounded in research, critical analysis, and ethical storytelling.
Collaboration
We believe meaningful change happens through partnerships across youth networks, academia, civil society, and grassroots actors.
Our Approach
Climate mobility sits at the crossroads of climate change, migration, and justice but too often, the knowledge around it feels distant or hard to access.
MigraClima is here to change that.
We make climate mobility research clear, accessible, and grounded in real people’s lives. We turn complex ideas into language that informs, connects, and inspires action, while amplifying voices that are often left out of the conversation.
Our work brings together research, lived experience, and advocacy to help shape more just and inclusive climate solutions. At the heart of it, we believe that dignity, equity, and Global South leadership must guide the way forward.
